US political satirist Jon Steward has taken on America's leading pro-Israel lobby, poking fun at the shameless pandering to it by the Democratic and Republican presidential candidates. American political satirist Jon Stewart has taken on the leading US pro-Israel lobby, the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).
In a five-minute comedy sketch broadcast on Comedy Central's Daily Show on 6 June 2008, he poked fun at the shameless pandering of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John McCain to AIPAC (see video below).

Stewart, himself a Jew, calls AIPAC the "elders of Zion" and therefore can expect to be smeared as a "self-hating Jew" by the Zionist-controlled US media.
